Carl and Helen Alant are the full time team of Absorb Africa since 1996. Carl Alant has a great love for the people, the nature and history of Africa. He loves to share this with people from all over the world. He started as a registered tour guide and has since accompanied hundreds of people in their discovery of Southern Africa. Helen is born and raised in the Netherlands. In 1995 she went to South Africa for the first time and fell in love with the open spaces and wild nature of the country. The team is supported by experienced free-lance tour guides, each with their own speciality.

Through personal communication beforehand, and with the aid of a unique questionnaire, every group of guests gets a totally personalized itineraryaccording to their preferences, wishes, dreams, budget and personalities.
